We can't believe it's here already, but today is the last day of 2015! It has been an amazing year and we'll be sorry to see it go, but we're ready to look forward to 2016 and all the wonderful things it will bring.
Of course, this is the time of year where we make New Year's Resolutions. Making a list of resolutions can sometimes be daunting, so we suggest beginning with goals that are totally doable and will bring you joy! No guilt trips here--just goals that will enrich your life and make it even better this year. Need a few ideas? Read on for our suggestions for an amazing 2016!
- Cook more meals at home.
Cooking more meals at home helps with many common resolutions such as budgeting, eating healthier, spending more quality time with loved ones, etc - but we have it on our list because cooking new things is just fun! There is nothing better than preparing, plating, and serving a delicious meal that you lovingly put together. We suggest putting on your favorite album of 2015, grabbing one of our beautiful cookbooks, and dancing around the kitchen while you make your new favorite meal!
2. Learn something new.
Is there something you've always wanted to learn how to do, but keep putting off? This is your year! It's never too late to pick up a new hobby, and you'll never know what ignites your passion until you try it! We love watching people try something new at our workshops, from succulent arrangements to bouquets and more. Check out our upcoming workshops and try something new this year!
3. Get your home bar in order.
Ready to impress your friends and houseguests this year? Put together a beautiful and chic home bar so you are ready to be hostess with the mostest at a moment's notice! A bar cart with all the bar essentials adds a fun touch to your living space, and you might just find your new signature drink in the process. Shop bar essentials at our LA location and get set up today!
4. Declutter & reorganize.
We are firm believers in only keeping things in your home that bring you joy, especially when it comes to the kitchen. Start the year off with a fresh canvas by going through your belongings room by room and getting rid of things you don't need or want. Then, take the objects that are left and organize them in a way that is pleasing to the eye as well as convenient! We love the look of exposed shelving stacked with pretty dishes and accessories, and it is also a great way to force you to get rid of extra or unnecessary things.
What are your resolutions for making 2016 your best year yet? Tell us your goals in the comments and let's kick off the new year right! Thank you for following along with us this year - see you in 2016!
